Bank Services can import bank statements in OFX format. Not all banks provide bank statements in that form. This application converts statement information that has been downloaded using normal bank software ie QIF format (Quicken Interchange Format) and converts it into a form that Sage Accpac can import. Cheques and deposits are matched off and new amounts are added as a transaction in the entries tab.
This is very helpful for companies that write large quantities of cheques or receive many deposits. It is a very visual tool so its easy to use.
For companies that process EFT batches of payments and therefore have one large payment on their bank statement for each batch, Bank Reconciliation Tools optionally consolidates the individual cheques in Bank Services by batch, so the large statement amount automatically matches off against the whole batch of payments in Bank Reconciliation.

Not all QIF files are the same. Setup options allows you to set your bank's date and reference formats. If you would like us to test it with your bank's QIF file please email us a sample file.
